As virtual students grow more comfortable with online learning, October is a great time to shift from doing for them to coaching them.

Parents can help by:

🎯 Asking your student what their goal is for the day or week.
🧠 Encouraging them to try solving a problem before stepping in.
📩 Teaching them to email or message their teacher when they need help.
🔎 Having them check Canvas and PowerSchool themselves before you do.
💬 Asking questions like, “What do you think you should do next?”

Your goal isn't to make virtual learning easier for your child, it's to help them become confident, independent learners who know how to advocate for themselves. 🐺💚
