A la carte classes mean a student is fully enrolled at their current school or homeschool and is taking one or more additional classes with TOPS. This must be approved by the current school and by TOPS.

What happens next?

When your form is submitted, allow two weeks for someone to contact you to let you know if the courses will be available for the intended semester. Signing up for a course does not guarantee that it will be offered. If the course is available, the parent will be contacted with the cost and process moving forward.

Once we receive your enrollment, we will create a Canvas account and TOPS mail account for you. You will be sent a welcome email with all of your information and an orientation link telling you how TOPS works and how to navigate your course(s).

When do classes begin?

August 6, 2025

When is the last day I can sign up?

We will allow students to sign up until the end of August as long as room is available.

What if I change my mind?

Enrollment fees are non refundable, but you can withdraw from the course within 30 days without a grade being sent to your school.

Should I tell my counselor I'm taking a course with TOPS?

Absolutely! We want to work with your counselor to make sure you are taking a course you need to create room in your schedule at your local school. It is best that you talk this over with your counselor before registering.

How can I check my child's progress and grades?

Once the student has their login information, parents will be able to sign up for a Canvas account that follows the student account.
